The Seaventure is made for visiting some of the most remote and exotic areas of the world as the ship's enviable maneuverability and miniscule draught allow it to cruise through ice-filled waters and into crevices where larger and more traditional passenger ships fear to tread.
With an E4 ice rating - the highest ice class awarded to passenger vessels - the 6,752-ton Seaventure is well-equipped to handle the challenge of gliding amongst glaciers.
The 4-star plus Seaventure has plenty of amenities for a small adventure vessel. Built in 1990 and constantly renovated and upgraded, the ship features a lounge, library, swimming pool, fitness center and beauty salon.
The ship is built to make the most of every memorable opportunity, and the crew is always poised to enhance the experience. The ship's contingent of 12 rubber zodiacs let passengers become part of their surroundings, rather than just viewing them from afar. The small boats can be launched at all hours of the day and night (especially during trips close to the poles, where sunlight often never wanes) to zip among nature's ice sculptures and enjoy animal encounters.
The dining room features big picture windows and open seating. Guests can also enjoy breakfast and lunch in The Club or al-fresco.The restaurant is large enough to accommodate all passengers in a single seating, eliminating the need for multiple seating times at dinner. Open seating is observed during breakfast and lunch.
All 80 staterooms are pretty spacious by expedition-ship standards at 194 square feet, and - in keeping with the ship's emphasis on constant exposure to the ship's scenic destinations - all cabins are outside rooms and feature large windows, with the exception of those on Deck 3 which have only portholes. Deck 6 is home to 16 balcony cabins. Two 258 square ft. balcony suites are located on Deck 7 and offer the added perk of a seating area.
Staterooms feature amenities like HDTV, DVD player, individual air conditioning, minibar, electronic safe box (in the closet), plush bathrobes. All staterooms are outside. Handicapped (wheelchair-accessible) cabins are also available.
Lectures are held in the roomy and comfortable Panorama Lounge, with boasts a layout that's half college lecture hall, half your living room.
The outdoor pool and sun deck is a relaxing place to spend down time on warm-weather days. Other distractions include a small fitness center with about five pieces of cardio equipment and a sauna.
Everything on Seaventure is geared toward one goal: To give passengers the opportunity to see some of the most amazing sights the world has to offer while sailing away the vegan way. It's hard to imagine a ship better equipped to deliver. Seaventure is designed to get you within an arm's length of those natural wonders, and the cordial and dedicated crew does everything possible to facilitate your enjoyment of the environment and activities. Passengers are often allowed on the bridge or into spaces usually limited to crew access in order to get better views of wildlife or to capture that perfect photo.

Will you offer a pre- and / or post-cruise extension?
Yes!! Vegan Travel’s pre- and post-cruise packages are a great way to extend your cruise vacation.
While you’re planning your trip of a lifetime, why not extend the excitement? Our carefully curated pre- and post-cruise extensions make it easy to add a few days to the front (Leipzig and Berlin) or back end (Reykjavik; Blue Lagoon) of your trip, while leaving the planning to us.
Our packages include great vegan meals, cool hotel options, transfers and a dedicated destination expert to escort you along the way.
When can I book the land extensions?
We expect to launch the pre- and post-cruise extensions in May or June 2020.
What is the YOU ARE NOT ALONE program? How do I join?
The roommate share program which we call “You are not alone” is available to guests who are traveling alone and do not wish to pay the single occupancy rate. Please email us your details (full name; date of birth; address and your preferred room category) and you will be matched with another guest of the same gender. For safety reasons, we do not share any information regarding your roommate and you will not meet them until the day of the cruise.
What are the payment options? Can I pay in installments?
You can also opt to pay in full at the time of booking or you can choose our monthly payment plan. Alternatively, you can pay a deposit only when you book this cruise. The balance is due in early April 2021.
Prefer monthly installments and a payment plan. The payment plan gives you the option to pay your full cruise fare in equal automatic monthly installments. Please email us if you prefer this option.
How does the payment plan work?
The automatic billing plan (recurring billing) allows guests to establish an evenly divided payment schedule. Vegan Travel then automatically charges the guest’s authorized credit card on file for the applicable charges on either of the scheduled dates (the 1st or 15th of every month depending on when you originally booked). Guests who wish to enroll in the automatic billing plan will be required to make the initial deposit at the time of booking, and then authorize monthly payments to be processed on the 1st or the 15th of every month depending on the dates you agree to. There is no additional charge for selecting the automatic billing plan and final payment will be processed on May 2nd, 2021, at the latest.
