Antarctica 2025 Update
We're reaching out with a mix of emotions – disappointment
and excitement – regarding your Antarctica cruise in 2025.
The owners of the SeaVenture, the incredible vessel we
planned to explore the pristine wilderness with, have unexpectedly sold the
ship to a Chinese group and the new owners don’t want to honor any existing
charter agreement. :( [Vegan Travel received this update late last Friday!]
This means our originally planned voyage can no longer take place. We were
heartbroken to hear this news, knowing how much this adventure means to all of
us.
But here at Vegan Travel, giving up on your dream, on our
dream, is simply not an option! We spent the entire weekend working tirelessly
to find a solution, and we're thrilled to present you with a fantastic
alternative:
Set Sail on the Luxurious Ocean Victory!
This practically brand-new ship boasts everything you could
want for an unforgettable journey – hot tubs, a sparkling pool, sauna, and much
more. Imagine soaking in the sights of Antarctica, then unwinding in a soothing
hot tub under the pristine polar sky – pure bliss!
We've secured passage on the Ocean Victory for a very
similar itinerary, departing Ushuaia on March 6th, 2025, and returning on March
24th.
We'll even arrange a meet-up in Buenos Aires on March 5th before flying you to
Ushuaia for embarkation.
Again: The new dates for this incredible voyage are March
6th to March 24th, 2025 [Ushuaia roundtrip]. We understand this is a
slight shift, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
While the short notice prevents us from operating a fully vegan cruise this time, we haven't forgotten about our dietary needs and preferences! Throughout your exploration of Antarctica, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands, you'll indulge in delicious and satisfying vegan meals for breakfast and lunch, prepared in our dedicated onboard Vegan Travel restaurant. For dinner, we've reserved a special section within the main dining area exclusively for our vegan guests.
