Accommodating up to 136 passengers as she winds her way along the mighty Danube River to offer our guests exclusive Vegan Travel discoveries in timeless cities, the new riverboat ms Joy leads the way in spacious comfort with the most space per guest on Europe´s rivers.
In the entrance hall, our guests will find the Vegan Travel desk, reception, as well as a stylish bord shop. There is a bar Arthur´s on the Diamond Deck. On the Ruby Deck, passengers benefit from the beautiful Panorama Bar & Lounge. MS Joy is equipped with a modern wellness area and fitness room. A hairdresser is also found on board. A lift connects the three individual decks.
Joy´s deck plan is innovative; with a total of 67 cabins, the most popular cabins tend to be the largest... so the added ship length has been used to offer twenty-two 300-square-feet Master Suites - the most of any river cruise ship on any European river. To increase the amount of natural sunlight on the lower deck, 8 Loft Suites have been created that extend from the first to the second decks, providing guests with an additional view; all windows n these loft cabins open.

Does the ship have Wifi?
Yes, there will be WiFi onboard the ship, which is also already included in your cruise fare! Being close to shore, the connection is quite good at river cruises but internet on board can never be as reliable as on land. There will always be some level of unreliability, especially the further out to sea you sail.
Our connection relies on a cellular or satellite terminal—the best possible solution for river cruising. Due to the nature of data bandwidth and latency, as well as potential interruptions in satellite signals based on terrain and weather, you may experience slower online connections than you are accustomed to at home. That’s why we recommend to download your content such as movies, series or software updates before the cruise, so there is enough data for everyone to use the WiFi.

How do I get to Passau?
Passau's train station is easily accessible and is located very close to the river. The nearest airport to Passau is Linz (LNZ) Airport, 67 km away. Other airports nearby are Salzburg (SZG; 92 km) and Munich (MUC; 123.7 km).
Vilshofen is close to Passau which is why we recommend the same airports for your return flight.
Will you offer a pre- and/or post cruise program?
Yes! We will offer a post-cruise program im Munich which would extend your stay with Vegan Travel for three days/ two nights.

How can I book shore excursions and the post cruise program?
Once we finished the planning of our shore excursions, all booked guests will receive an email with a link for a separate Vegan Travel website where you can book our excursions and travel extensions. You will also be able to find the link here at the FAQs. It is highly recommended to book shore excursions prior to the cruise.
Where exactly will the ship be on embarkation day?
The exact coordinates will be announced to us only a few weeks before the cruise starts. You will get the information with your travel documents. What we can say by now is that you can assume the ship to be centrally located in Passau.
