THIS IS YOUR ALL VEGAN FLOATING HOTEL

The Seaventure is made for visiting some of the most remote and exotic areas of the world as the ship's enviable maneuverability and miniscule draught allow it to cruise through ice-filled waters and into crevices where larger and more traditional passenger ships fear to tread.

With an E4 ice rating - the highest ice class awarded to passenger vessels - the 6,752-ton Seaventure is well-equipped to handle the challenge of gliding amongst glaciers.

The 4-star plus Seaventure has plenty of amenities for a small adventure vessel. Built in 1990 and constantly renovated and upgraded, the ship features a lounge, library, swimming pool, fitness center and beauty salon.

The ship is built to make the most of every memorable opportunity, and the crew is always poised to enhance the experience. The ship's contingent of 12 rubber zodiacs let passengers become part of their surroundings, rather than just viewing them from afar. The small boats can be launched at all hours of the day and night (especially during trips close to the poles, where sunlight often never wanes) to zip among nature's ice sculptures and enjoy animal encounters.

The dining room features big picture windows and open seating. Guests can also enjoy breakfast and lunch in The Club or al-fresco.The restaurant is large enough to accommodate all passengers in a single seating, eliminating the need for multiple seating times at dinner. Open seating is observed during breakfast and lunch.

All 80 staterooms are pretty spacious by expedition-ship standards at 194 square feet, and - in keeping with the ship's emphasis on constant exposure to the ship's scenic destinations - all cabins are outside rooms and feature large windows, with the exception of those on Deck 3 which have only portholes. Deck 6 is home to 16 balcony cabins. Two 258 square ft. balcony suites are located on Deck 7 and offer the added perk of a seating area.

Staterooms feature amenities like HDTV, DVD player, individual air conditioning, minibar, electronic safe box (in the closet), plush bathrobes. All staterooms are outside. Handicapped (wheelchair-accessible) cabins are also available.

Lectures are held in the roomy and comfortable Panorama Lounge, with boasts a layout that's half college lecture hall, half your living room.

The outdoor pool and sun deck is a relaxing place to spend down time on warm-weather days. Other distractions include a small fitness center with about five pieces of cardio equipment and a sauna.

Everything on Seaventure is geared toward one goal: To give passengers the opportunity to see some of the most amazing sights the world has to offer while sailing away the vegan way. It's hard to imagine a ship better equipped to deliver. Seaventure is designed to get you within an arm's length of those natural wonders, and the cordial and dedicated crew does everything possible to facilitate your enjoyment of the environment and activities. Passengers are often allowed on the bridge or into spaces usually limited to crew access in order to get better views of wildlife or to capture that perfect photo.

To which airport do I have to fly to?

The destination airport is Hamburg (HAM), Germany. From Hamburg we will organize a shuttle bus to the port in Bremerhaven where our wonderful cruise will start.

Will you offer a pre- and/or post program for this cruise?

Yes! We are offering a pre cruise program in Hamburg and on a post cruise program in Reykjavik, which each would extend your trip with Vegan Travel for two to three days.
You can find more information and all details here:
https://vtr.onl/IceScoExcursions

Does the ship have WiFi?

Onboard the Seaventure there is a WiFi connection, which can additionally be purchased at the reception of the ship. The internet connection at high seas relies on a cellular or satellite terminal – the best possible solution for cruises. Due to the nature of data bandwidth and latency, as well as potential interruptions in satellite signals based on terrain and weather, you may experience slower online connections than you are accustomed to at home. That’s why we recommend to download your content such as movies, series or software updates before the cruise.

Is it possible to leave Iceland by ferry instead of flying?

Yes. You can take a ferry from Seyðisfjörður (Iceland) to Hirtshals (Denmark). You can find more information and book the ferry on the following website:

https://en.smyrilline.fo/

Please mind the distance between Reykjavik and Seyðisfjörður for your booking.

Do I have to be vaccinated (COVID)?

The German government liftet all travel restrictions. Further details: vtr.onl/EntryRestrictionsGermany

Do I get a full refund when Vegan Travel has to cancel the cruise or when I have to cancel because of a Corona infection?

If Vegan travel has to cancel the cruise because of Corona, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to Vegan travel. If you have to cancel the cruise because you got infected with the Coronavirus, our terms and conditions apply: https://vtr.onl/Cancellation

We highly recommend to get a travel insurance.

Do I have to reserve a Vegan Travel Shore Excursion now, or can I do it onboard?

It is highly recommended to book shore excursions prior to the cruise due to limited availibility and we don´t want you to miss your favorite excursion!
You can find all shore excursions for our Scotland and Iceland cruise here:
